Welcome to our Hay Marketplace! The inspiration behind this family business began in 2021 when we started our farm, Baling Out Farms.

We are a small farm operation, husband and wife duo. We farm cattle, HAY, and of course horse and donkey for added fun, plus some farming use!

I was standing in my barn one day, expecting to have a certain amount of hay, but instead I had way more than expected in one area, and less than expected in another. My husband and I started thinking of an efficient way that we could organize and store our hay. We wanted an easy way to quickly track our hay inventory in real time, instead of taking notes and then adjusting later on some spreadsheet.

Around this same time, I started to notice people on social media platforms asking, “Who has hay?!” or “Looking for horse quality hay?!” It was then I realized there was no place to easily look up hay suppliers in the area! We started doing more research to figure out how we could help our business and also help others, which led us to developing Hay Marketplace!

We are excited to have launched this unique Marketplace that helps connect farmers to consumers for all their hay needs. Now there is no need to search endlessly and sift through multiple answers and tags in order to find your hay! Additionally, for farmers, it helps track production, fields, and storage. For consumers, it helps track usage to be able to efficiently purchase hay for each season.
